Summer Thomad is a journalist born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is currently a production assistant for NPR’s Code Switch, and the assistant editor for The Believer. Her work has appeared in NPR, The Believer, Desert Companion, and the UNLV Scarlet and Gray Free Press. In her spare time, she is trying out new recipes and thinking about Kermit the Frog.
