Claire Vaye Watkins is the author of three books: Battleborn, Gold Fame Citrus, and I Love You but I’ve Chosen Darkness. She is a professor in the MFA Programs in Writing at the University of California, Irvine, and lives at the bottom of an ancient inland sea in Twentynine Palms, California.
