Elizabeth Greenspan is a writer based in Philadelphia. She writes mostly about cities, politics, and design. Her work has appeared in The New Yorker, Architect, Bloomberg Businessweek, The New Republic, and Places Journal, among other publications. She teaches urban studies and creative writing at the University of Pennsylvania and is the author of Battle for Ground Zero: Inside the Political Struggle to Rebuild the World Trade Center.
