Heike Geissler is a fiction writer from Leipzig, Germany. She is the author of the novel Rosa, the novella Nichts, was tragisch wäre, and a children’s book, Emma und Pferd Beere. Her critically acclaimed nonfiction novel, Seasonal Associate (Saisonarbeit), her first publication in English, earned her a fellowship from the German Academy Rome Villa Massimo in 2017.
