Ilya Milstein is an Australian self-trained illustrator working in New York. Employing a combination of traditional and digital processes in a style reminiscent of Franco-Belgian comics and Japanese woodblock prints, his drawings are often highly-detailed, dense with arcane references, and nostalgic in their character. His work has been recognized by the Society of Illustrators, American Illustration, Communication Arts, and the One Club for Creativity. Clients for his drawings include The New Yorker, The New York Times, Apple, and the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
