Mimi Lok is a writer, editor, oral historian, and narrative strategist. She is the author of Last of Her Name, winner of a PEN/Robert W. Bingham Prize and a California Book Award Silver Medal, and is also a Smithsonian Ingenuity Award winner and a National Magazine Award finalist. Mimi is the cofounder of Voice of Witness, an oral history nonprofit that amplifies marginalized voices. She is currently working on a novel and a story collection.
