George Gene Gustines has worked at The New York Times since 1990 and began writing about comic books in 2002. It was lonely at the beginning but is now much more competitive, thanks to the influence of comics on animated series, live-action television shows, films, and more. His career goals are landing a solo story on the front page and reaching a thousand bylines.
Tony Wolf is a comics creator and actor based in the New York City area. He has created several comics journalism pieces for The New York Times. He has also appeared on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, Comedy Central, and The Blacklist. Cosmic Lion recently published his short-story collection Tales from the Wolf.
Christian Meesey is an illustrator and caricaturist whose clients include Disney, Warner Bros., IDW, Cosmic Lion, and Image Comics. His book Time Shopper (written by Tony Fleecs) was a 2023 National Cartoonists Society Reuben Award nominee for Best Graphic Novel. He lives and draws somewhere in the Midwest.
